Travel Shots and Immunizations

Shots
There are no required shots for South Africa.
Check for shots information at the Center for Disease Control.
Yellow Fever vacination is not required because we are not stopping over in a warning area for that .
However, just in case….get your measles and tentanus shots done, the kind of things you should do routinely anyway. Go to the Stephenville Clinic for these.
Medicine
Malaria pills, it is possible to be bitten by an insect and contract malaria, but if you take the pills while you are there you will be safe.
Ciproflaxin, if you eat something that makes you feel funny or you worry it might, take a Cipro pill it will combat any stomach bacteria that is bad for you.
